Obama Family OK After Incident At Vacation Compound KAILUA, Hawaii (AFP) - Barack Obama dramatically rushed back to his Hawaii vacation home on Monday followed by an ambulance, but media reports said his family were fine and that a friend had a minor injury.



An AFP journalist saw the US president break off a game of golf and rush back in his motorcade in the direction of the compound where he and his family are spending their holidays with some friends.


CNN reported that there was some police activity around the president's rental home, including an ambulance that later left the scene, but stressed that White House aides had told them the first family were all fine.


"There was a minor injury among one of the family friends who's traveling with the first family," a CNN correspondent said.
